— She seemed to contemplate for a moment. ‘He does appear to be nice, all his words and actions are pleasant, he has such a warmth about him’ “I’d be happy to join you” she said, his nerves instantly disappeared. She smiled at him, and he couldn’t help but smile back. “Thank you Fauna” She decided to return to what she had left of her clovers. With Denwen happily standing nearby, he took in the moment and enjoyed the peace he had with her. But he couldn’t help but think about how not only three days ago he was with his birth herd, and now he suddenly wasn’t alone. It did go against what he wanted for himself. But deep inside his mind and heart, he knew he couldn’t pass up on this opportunity with a mare. — Fauna happily finished the clovers, content with herself she looked at Denwen. He was still standing but more relaxed, his eyes closed. “Denwen?” “Yes, Fauna?” He spoke, he didn’t even open his eyes quite yet, but the response was quick. He was listening to her. “How come

— At times, Luarentina often thinks of her birth herd. How her mother was treated sweetly by her father, but the other mares as well. Then it would wander to the thoughts of Darren and Camilla. She couldn’t help but crave something like that, but she was far too shy to start it. Let alone speak on it to the big red stallion. She did speak on it to Camilla. The sun-kissed mare reassured her that Darren won’t do anything to hurt her, which helped the mare’s shyness a bit. Camilla also told her that it was her to feel the spark and pursued it. “There is nothing wrong with you starting it.” That rings in Luarentina’s head every time she thinks back to the conversation. She knew she could do this. She started to look for the stallion, he stood in the river basking in the sunlight and enjoying a drink. Summoning up her courage once again, she placed herself in the water, slowly marching over to him. Darren noticed the sound of splashing but assumed one of the mares got into it as well.

— It was the middle of the night, his two mares slept peacefully in the cave. He had himself positioned with his rump facing them, and his face at the entrance. He didn't want any unwelcome visitors getting past him. He owed that to the mares, they deserve to not have to worry. Though, Camilla will do that without saying it verbally. Lifting his head as he yawned out, he caught this odd fragrance coming from out of nowhere. It was sweet, like fruit, what the? That’s definitely out of the ordinary. Was he dreaming? No that isn’t possible, he woke up a bit ago, unless that was a false feeling within his own mind. He normally doesn’t dream, typically just darkness. Though Darren didn’t do much exploring of the area, he wanted to provide a spot that they can spend some time at. This would be a good time to explore, looking back towards the two mares. Camilla was the closest, while Luarentina was tucked a bit behind her. Approaching her, he gently nudged her shoulder. In response, he got

— Denwen kept up his wandering, he didn’t feel like settling in one spot right now. Maybe in a year or so, he will find a spot he can see himself returning to yearly. The snow was patchy in the surrounding area, but still dense from the previous snowfall. Occasionally he would enjoy the loud crunch he can make in it. It was increasingly obvious that Denwen wasn’t the only one who parted from his herd. He has spotted a few small groups, normally ranging from two to three unicorns together. Most likely siblings setting off together, or bachelors. But it took one small glimpse, and he saw her. This mare was standing over a small green pach that seemed to hold out well into the winter. She was alone, which was weird as he passed many groups as stated before. Why wasn’t she with one of them? Was she left behind or chose to be alone like him? — For some reason his body moved on its own, his mind was still in the tree line watching her. His body was moving very cautiously, like he would

— Maria eyes Camilla suspiciously, it was like Camilla would change another color or something. “You know, sure why not” with a few swift motions Maria was atop Camilla and eagerly looking over the area. She darted her head side to side, sniffing the air here and there. “Aha!” The small creature shouted out, “there, over there!” She hops right off of Camilla and dives straight into some bushes. When Maria finally came back out, she had a mouth full of wildflowers! They looked beautiful. “I found them!” Quickly moving over, “yeah! I'm so glad you have your flowers back Maria!” Camilla cheered out nodding her head up and down. Maria didn't seem to forget her end of this adventure, and went straight to a specific tree. She dropped her flowers next to her and proceeded to scratch the tree. Her nails seemed to go through it with such ease, it would have been nice if horses had that to defend themselves. Within minutes, something sticky looking substance came out of the area she clawed

— The young adult stallion simply stared out into the vast valley before him. He has done this more and more recently since his birth herd returned to the area of his own birth. His father likes this area for his own benefit of overseeing his mares while they deliver their foals. It has been a year since he’s been here and already dreads seeing it. Ever since his little sister was born, the dynamics changed. For the better or worse? He couldn’t say, but it drove off his older brother. That is one thing Denwen constantly thinks about, his older brother. They were best friends, but sadly his brother left about four years ago. He was old enough to fend for himself, and was the typical age to leave anyway, but he didn’t want to leave without Denwen. Denwen understands why he left anyway. It just took him a few years to fully come to terms with it, he forgives his brother. He often wonders how he is doing, if he was even still alive. Does he have himself a loyal herd? Foals even? He

— The fox pinned her ears back, “it isn’t something you need to concern yourself with” she mumbled out, it was barely low enough for Camilla to even hear. But she did. Feeling a bit hurt, Camilla simply frowned. She enjoyed helping others, it warmed her heart to see whomever got excited about whatever it is they were seeking in the first place. But Maria stops in her tracks, and looks up, not at Camilla but just the sky above them. “Though, you horses are good at finding things, is that correct?” Seemingly weighing out her few options, “well, I’m looking for Wild Flowers. I had a bunch! I don’t know how I lost them all but I did.—“ Maria sighed “—If you help me find all my flowers, I’ll show you something cool.” With all the information thrown at her like a rock kicked up from hooves, a soft smile appeared. But without that curiosity, Camilla wouldn’t have even said yes, after the rudeness she received at first. Though Maria reminds her of Lilit, the raccoon they helped a few days

— It was only a few minutes after he left that Camilla woke up. She frantically looked around and stood fast. He was here before, she thought he wouldn’t have just upped and left her after everything so far. She could still smell him like he was just a few yards away from her. He left recently. Pinning her ears back, her mouth formed a frown. Why? Sighing, she thought that maybe he might return to her. Hopefully. Even if he didn’t, at least she wasn’t truly alone anymore. Though she wasn’t alone in the area at all. She just didn’t know that part yet. — She kept pacing for a while, nerves were racking through her brain like a thoroughbred on a racetrack. Why would he leave with no word? What if he is hurt and can’t make it back to her? What will she do? What if another stallion finds her? She was terrified, her legs shook whenever she stood still. This cannot be happening right now, she knew he cared about her, clearly since he didn’t leave her for those dogs to get her. Along

— There he stood, the large red stallion patiently waiting for his sunshine to awake from her slumber. Their night was blissful. True happiness, even within the short time spanned it was. Soon they shall be welcoming a foal, a wonderful creation from her. Hell, even of her. Anything from her would be an amazing foal. He looked up to the sky for a moment, his goals. She will give them both his foals. That was something foreign to him. A few years ago this was but a dream, now he has an enchanting mare, and soon his own foal. With that thought, they changed to his birth-herd. He missed his mother and father, a slight bit for his brother but only the parts when they weren't fighting each other. The sweet moments, he presumed. — Wandering a bit from her, she slept peacefully still, this time laid out fully. He catches a scent that seems familiar. Quickly looking around in front of him, he couldn't see anything. Turning back to Camilla, she was still asleep and not the source. Maybe

— They both turned, beginning to walk along the riverside, walking rather slow. “Will you be okay?” He hushed out to her, “yeah” was all she said. Darren hopes she isn’t lying to him, if she needs to stop, all she had to do was say it. But if she really was okay, then he would keep moving. The snow was still coming down, slow but large snowflakes, Darren was still able to see. Camilla slightly back but still next to him. The snow was sticking to the trees and grass, but not the water nor sand. — Keeping to the bank, the two slowly walked for what felt like an eternity. Looking into the tree line, Darren spotted a rather large oak tree, though it lacked leaves, there were a bunch of large branches, with little to no snow underneath it. “Look, that tree should provide us with enough cover” Camilla lifted her head towards the tree, “I hope so.” She was the first to move towards it, she moved a bit more eagerly. No doubt happy about resting once again and trying to cuddle the red
